I'm going to miss the rough old rickety Giant but I can't wait to ride the "new" Giant!

My bad...I've been very lax on updating this. But just to let you know, the lift has been topped off with the new track.

I have my camera on me today; let's see if I remember to stop on the way home.

Has the new Cars came in yet? have anyone seen them what they look liked?

Well, the SFOT Facebook fan page has uploaded some new pictures of their own of the lift track, but it refuses to post as a link here.

Kenny, very doubtful the trains have arrived, but I cannot say for sure.

The first drop on the new Texas Giant reminds me somewhat of MF at Cedar Point. It looks like the remake will be an awesome ride. I can't wait to check it out next year.

1st drop is a big change! The original drop seemed like it took forever to get going... this drop gets right down to business!

Keep checking that Guide To SFOT website, he's put up some new pictures, but nothing has really changed much, except they've added the stairway rails back to the lift. His last pictoral update was August 15th.

They have also unveiled a new logo.....

I am really looking forward to riding The New Texas Giant. Looks like its going to be an insane metal coaster with a lot of wood structure and the airtime looks like it could be insane on some of those hills.
