| Looks bad. I do know that they expect a certain amount of flooding every few years there, but that looks like a lot more than they can handle. I hope their antique Carousel is okay -- It is up high on a hill, but that flooding looks deep... |

Incredible. What, two years ago?..they were shutting down water rides and installing water-saving toilets and sinks to curb water usage because of "exceptional" drought.
Seeing that Mindbender loop half-submerged is daunting. I had no idea that area of the park was THAT low. |

Yeah, if the Carousel flooded I think we'd all be dead - it is way up on a hill like you say... I talked to the oldest local I could fine and the flooding seemed to be in line with history but there has been so much sprawl/concrete that it is starting to sound a little like a Houston-type flood. The main difference is that it is not flat here at all and the water flows into river. _________________

I did not realize it either and that is where I park and walk into the park (and that's our favorite ride here). It is just an incredible amount of water (saying that as a Houstonian). _________________

I imagine that they will do everything they can to get as much up and running as soon as the water goes down. Fright Fest is way too much of a Money Maker.
SFOT has had some pretty good floods that they recovered from. |

I have never been there, but it looks like a fun park _________________ When one door closes, another always opens, even though, it can be hell in the hallway. |

No, I'm sure by now that water has already receded. MegaZeph (I assume you are referring to) was submerged in water for weeks and was steel-structured.
This has also happened to Texas Giant. Not on a large a scale as this, but the lift section has been submerged multiple times in the past and reopened within days. |
