I would expect the same. Demolition is typically the responsibility of the buyer, not the seller. Six Flags is lazy, not evil, and I suspect they won't spend a cent they don't have to, so assuming no deal has been confirmed, those structures may sit for a long time.

Just curious - was anyone on the last ever ride of one of the rides at Astroworld who also plans on being on the first ever ride of the same ride at its new location? That would be kinda cool.

Most of us on this BBS who were there closing day were riding our last rides on Cyclone, which isnt going anywhere.

true, i wish i had been in the midst of the last run, but i was in such a rush to get home i just didnt feel like waiting for some of the last runs but now i really wish that i had. Crying or Very sad oh i have a question. since we know or at least think we know that sfstl is getting dd, will dd be open at the beginning of the season at sfstl?

Another section of dungeon drop came down today and i was lucky to be in the are to catch it. Diablo Falls is almost fully down from what i can see. http://oldastroworld.com/New_Folder/nov282005.html I take back diablo falls comment, in one of todays pics you can see it.

Astroworld was on Channel 2 news at 10:00 PM briefly Monday night.

Another section of DD is gone, looks like it's down to the last brake run now, it looks like it might be gone today, Serial thriller has begun to have it's cable pulled. I guess that's next.
