With a little over 2 weeks left till October, halloween season is nearly upon us. Anybody have any plans for what houses you will be going to this year? Any news on new houses or holloween related attractions around the houston area?

We will be doing our annual HHN & MNSSHP and may ride up to Fort Worth as I read they have the worlds largest haunted house. I cant wait to hear those radio commercials advertising the local haunts!

Let the haunts begin!

I love this time of year! I just got back from Disney and the Magic Kingdom was all deked out for fall and Micky's Not so Scary Halloween party. However we didn't stay for it the party. As for local stuff I need to hit up a haunted house this year. I've been to the infamous Six Street in Austin on Halloween night and it is always a blast.

How was Disney?
Was it crowded?
Good weather?
Did early monorail closure affect you any (@ MK or Epcot)??

I can certainly recommend 6th street in Austin on Halloween. It was a lot of fun, but absolutely not an event for kids. (NC-17)!

I'm heading to California to check out Haunt at Knott's Berry Farm and Fright Fest at Magic Mountain.... I hear this year is supposed to be better than years past for Fright Fest, I am anxious to see what they have improved since my first visit in '09.
