The design looks awfully like railroad track... I find that a good thing! You may not know this or believe this, but if you look at railroad track in any town, you will notice they will be a little wavy if you look over them, and not anywhere near a perfectly straight line. This is because railroad tracks, even in mile long welded sections, tend to bend a lot. This is especially true when steam locomotive pound on them. All I see with this new design is that the ride will be a little smoother and allow more radical design concepts for rides. There are some woodies such as SFFT's Rattler could benefit from, although I doubt it would help much. Although at this point, I doubt anyone can finger this coaster any type of coaster, let it be wood, steel, or hybrid until its finished and everyone can ride on it. The important thing to remember, with the track is that steel in the railroad track look that this new version of the coaster has, is that the track can flex with the wood. In some circumstances, its likely it will be moving around more. So I say let's wait and see what happens. _________________ If it ain't fixed then don't break it. |

| All of the lift track has now been removed. It's a pretty surreal but fascinating sight. |

Kenny,
The last picture posted was of the first drop, the drop before the mid-course (right next to it), and one of the last little hills before the brake run at the end of the ride.
The post today was in reference to the track on the chain lift hill. Using the last photo as a reference, all the track up to the start of the descent (first drop) is now gone; nothing but "sticks" of wood sticking up. Just the track has been removed; the main structure remains. Hope that clarifies |

This afternoon:
I forgot to exit and didn't want to get caught in the construction down further, so I just grabbed this one from the freeway.
Track has also now been removed from the hill/turn after the first drop. |
