That drop tower is evil.
I have not been scared on a ride in a century. I've never been able to shake a perennial fear freefall rides continue to awaken in me, but I've learned to ignore it because I know I'll have a good time.
.....
I screamed "STOP!!!" just as it did. Never done that on a ride before.
120' seems to be the perfect height for a superbly scary freefall experience, since the higher you go, the more is required for stopping it. I kept waiting .. and waiting for that thing to stop, remembering it wasn't even as high as the observation tower. But it just kept going!
EVILLE!

I can ride a 50-60 mph coaster but when it comes to drop towers, forget it! _________________ Randy

| Was briefly at the park for Winterfest a couple weeks ago, and I took one crack at this. Great intense version of a drop ride and fortunately something different than what's at the nearer parks. Cool view too from up there, much more fun for me than the observation deck. |

I rode that drop tower on 3/22 and it is better than those s&s space shots, it was like the old Dungeon Drop all over again. _________________ Looks like its playtime again |
