Taken 2-21. That's about as much progress as they've made on the ride itself....just getting track pieces on site!

Is there any reason why the ride is delayed? Or was this the original time table and they are in fact right on schedule?

I didn't expect it to open before Spring Break. You're going to have big crowds during those weeks with or without the marketing push of a new ride. Delay the opening until after those crowds and you can get another rush.

I really think they are trying to focus on fiesta Texas as a whole first.. Put more emphasis on Goliath and THBS.. and attract more people there for the first few weeks of the new season.. Then draw in people to Arlington for THBS after.. There should be no reason why it could take months to build if they have already built it for fiesta and other parks..

one thing i noticed when i was leaving the park saturday was the two green peices of shockwave track. now that i look in the picture i can see it but you kinda have to focus on it.

Yes there are pieces of Shockwave out there. Not sure if they were coming back or going out.
