I am not going to have a long drawn out report on my day @ Fiesta Texas because it wasn't really anything exciting. I have visited all three parks in Texas and I have to say that Fiesta Texas is bitter sweet for me. I tried my hardest to have a great time at the park but it was certain things that the employees did that really made me angry. Me and my party started our day by getting on the boomerang. Park attendance was very light because it was a week day so the wait times at the rides were very light. When we got into the line @ boomerang the employees made everyone stand in the hot sun instead of waiting in the shade. What they was doing was filling every train and assigning everyone to a seat. I got angry and told them what if I didn't want to sit here and they replied we are filling every seat. Later on that day I was craving a churro and I asked a worker that worked in one of the food booths where I could find a stand. Well I guess she thought I was trying to cut in front of the other man that was standing there even though I was saying excuse me I just have a question because she looked at me and asked the man if she could help him and he informed her that I had a question. And then she just put her finger on her chin and looked up for a while. I told her to forget it and walked around until i found one myself. The service was pretty much at that level for the exceptions of a couple of places. But Superman was cool (got to ride 4 times) and all of the other rides was fun. Didn't get the chance to ride the rattler due to a shutdown that occured that day because i think i saw the ride running earlier that day. But I knew it wasn't going to go any time soon because one of the trains was stuck in a dip and the other was at the base of the lift. And there was a girl at the Gully Washer by the name of Jessica or Jennifer, i don't remember that was very rude to everyone waiting in line yelling at who can get in the boat and she wasn't even making it clear on what she wanted the guests to board. She was the last straw and I will not go out of my way to vist any more... (only when I start to feel the superman withdrawls... Wink

Instead of complaining here, you need to stop at guest releations and fill out a comment card. They DO get read and acted upon.

I did... they were acting a little resistant to hear my thoughts but I made sure I was heard before I left the park...

Yeah, I have found their Guest Relations department to be slightly uncaring toward complaining guests also. They were that way toward me with a safety complaint about something that happened on Rattler while I was there. I asked for a comment form, and they just asked me what for and said there was no need to write it and that they would take care of it.

I was slightly peeved.

Funny, we have always had an amazing experience at Fiesta Texas. We spend more time there than we do our home park, Houston. The people in the inpark GR are so friendly and helpful. For a family with children the age of mine, Fiesta is heads above any of the Texas parks. And the employees are much more friendly. At least when we visit.

I agree with familyman. Last year, on my annual family visit to FT, me and my sister left our on ride photo of SKC at the SKC photography shop stop. We told them to hold it and that we would pick it up. We didn't know it closed early during the Texas Show, so when we went back to pick it up, it was closed. So we went to the guest relations office, spoke with this very enthusiastic woman about our problem. She walked with us to the shop, she walked us back, she kept radioing for the supervisor of the shop, even offered us drinks! She explained some of the history of the park also during the walk, pointing out some neat facts (... I forgot what they were... haha) of certain places in the park along the way. We ended up not being able to open up the shop as the super already left, she was going to give us complimentary tickets for tomorrow, but we were already coming back tomorrow for some 'quick' rides (ended up staying in the park for a good 4 hours haha) before we left, so we declined. We came back the next day, found the kind woman, then she lead us through the back queue of SKC and we got our photos! Very Happy That experience was very pleasant.

Wow..I've never had an experience like that at SFFT. Their Foods people are really nice there, though. As well as merch. Hmm. Maybe the ops department isn't making their job fun.
