What do you people consider the Best Roller Coaster and Best Ride and the Worst Roller Coaster and the Worst ride at Fiesta Texas...voice your opinion. I want to know because I am going there later this month and want to know which ride is worth the long line. _________________ - Make the Stage Your Wonderland - |

My two favorite coasters are Superman, and Poltergeist. My least favorite is The Rattler. It's so rough it's not even enjoyable anymore. Such a shame because the first year it opened, it was fairly awesome. However avoid the Huss Frisbee like the plague. That's THE worst(well I avoid them all now) spin and puke ride there is) it gave me the worst nausea ever. Otherwise the park is fun! As far as lines go, the major coasters might have them but I never experienced huge waiting times. _________________ ...so long and thanks for all the shoes. |

**goes to look for that Frisbee thread**
**whoops, can't find it**
Frisbee is my favorite flat. Who's the converter who thought it would be awful and liked it? txnhrt?
Road Runner Express I'd like more were it as long as Superman, therefore Superman is my Fiesta favorite. Worst....well, sorry Poltergeist. |

Guilty.
IIRC, the thread is under a trip report section from around March.
I do tend to get horribly nauseous on 'spin and puke' rides, and if I do ride one it's best for me to get on one in which I can find a fixed point straight in front of me and not take my eyes off it.
I thought I'd be much worse the faster Frisbee spun, but found it was just the opposite for me. The faster it spun, the less ill my stomach felt. And I have to say that my stomach didn't get as ill on Frisbee as it has on other rides.
I said in the other string that I didn't know whether I'd ride it again, but I think I would. It's not a ride I'd go on every visit, but I'd go if someone with me wanted to ride and wanted me to get on with them (hint, hint, txshady ). _________________

Well, DUH.... then I forgot to include my fav ride.
It's kind of a tough call for me really, because I really like the three largest coasters for different reasons.
But, if I had to pick one favorite, it would be SKC. It's smooth and has a number of different elements for an overall ride experience. Not to mention, the view when you go up and over the canyon wall can't be beat.
I do love polty, but mostly for the launch. That is the most awesome adrenaline rush!!
Rattler, well what can I say... it's a woodie. My two fav elements of that ride are the fan curve and the cave. (And I love standing in the queue when a train speeds around the last turn next to the station, and watching the faces of people in line when the structure sways the way it does. It makes me laugh!) _________________

The Frisbee ruined my trip to Fiesta Tx. i thought it looked fairly awesome and couldn't wait to get on it. However once it started spinning AND swinging back and forth i nearly lost it. However when I rode the Poltergeist shortly After I did :/ Hence the reason why I don't ride spin and pukes under no circumstances anymore. However I know people that couldn't stomach SWAT but had no problems on the Frisbee. SWAT was for sure my favorite flat. _________________ ...so long and thanks for all the shoes. |

I loved the frisbee too, it is one of my favorite rides at fiesta texas!
There was another version of frisbee at the Houston Rodeo carnival this year, it was basically the same ride but without the steel floor, the ride was open at the bottom.
My 2 favorite coasters at Fiesta are Rattler and Superman. Rattler is awesome and seems like it goes on forever. I really liked it when they first opened the park, before they modified it. Superman is just the coolest. I love that ride. Once we got in the park right when it opened and rode it about 5 times in a row.
My least favorite is boomerang.
They really need to get another coaster in the place of the Joker's Revenge. |

I guess this shows there is no middle ground for the Frisbee. You either love it or hate it.
Personally it is one of my favorite rides. I love it. It is a "Can't miss" along wqith Superman, Polergeist, Rattler, Scream and the Roadrunner.
The Boomerang however I can skip. But to be honest I feel like that about them all, no matter which park. |

I'd much rather ride Boomerang than Frisbee. When they first opened Frisbee (located where Boomerang is now), I could ride it no problem. But they were running it pretty tame compared to now to see how guests will react. With the way they run it now, it'll ruin my day if I ride it. _________________ Jason |

I thought the frisbee would ruin my day but I went ahead and rode it while the kids rode Scooby Doo for the second time. Suprisingly it did not make me as pukish as our own wagon wheel.
Worst puke factor for me was some flat ride at SFNO where you controlled forward/backroll while the ride did a scrambler type of spin. Ugh... THAT ruined an hour or so afterwards... |
